Adonia is the perfect travelling companion to explore the world, and exudes real small-ship charm, with a warm and intimate ambience. Her wood panelling, grand staircase, traditional feel
and décor are in keeping with the traditions of cruising. Yet being a 21st-century ship, she has beautifully crafted, modern facilities as well.
Yes, she’s still the Adonia you know and love, but with some updates to enhance her ambiance still further. We’ve refreshed and updated her soft furnishings, and added lighter fabrics for
a brighter look. We’ve also introduced Olly Smith’s The Glass House, where food and wine are flawlessly matched.
Building on the success of her itineraries in 2014 and 2015, Adonia’s new cruise collection from June 2017 will be packed with the same exciting possibilities for exploring lesser-known ports,
as well as many classic, popular destinations. As always, Adonia’s smaller size means that she will provide access to some unique and unusual ports, inaccessible to some of our larger ships,
bringing you the opportunity for even more discoveries ashore.
Summer 2017
Adonia’s summer 2017 programme offers an exciting mix of destinations, new and old.
Between June and October next year, she will be visiting Iberia – including the Canary
Islands – the western Mediterranean, the British Isles and Iceland.
Some of the exciting ports of call that she will be calling at include:
A river transit and overnight call at Bordeaux, one of the world’s major wine capitals.
A river transit into Seville, the capital of Andalusia.
A call at Portofino, a pretty fishing village on the Italian Riviera known for its pastel coloured
houses and picturesque harbour.
A maiden call to Puerto Banus near Marbella in Spain, a city awash with super yachts
and beautiful beaches.
A visit to the dramatic island of Heimaey off Iceland’s south coast, which is dominated
by the two volcanoes Helgafell and Eldfell.
If you’re interested in heritage sites, Adonia’s summer 2017 programme also includes a
selection of ports with accessible UNESCO sites, including:
Þingvellir National Park in Iceland (from Reykjavik).
La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia (from Valencia).
The remarkable monumental complex in the heart of Seville, the Cathedral, Alcázar and
Archivo de Indias (from Seville).
Winter 2017
For the winter season, Adonia will offer a wealth of different destinations across the sunny
Caribbean and parts of South America.
Highlight ports will include:
Mayreau, the smallest inhabited island of the Grenadines.
Bequia, which means ‘island of the clouds’ and is part of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Santarem in Brazil, which is situated in the Amazon River.
Better-known destinations include St Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Tortola, St Maarten
and Antigua.
