Many thanks to everyone who has taken the time to Congratulate me on winning my recent award. I always aim to deliver high levels of customer service and ensure that every booking is as exactly as it should be, so to have my efforts rewarded in this way is greatly appreciated.
Here are just a few snippets from the lovely messages I have received over the last few days ………..

WOW! 24 hours have now passed since I was awarded the very prestigious title of Cruise Sales Person of the Year 2008 at yesterdays UK Cruise Awards for P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Cunard and Ocean Village. Im pictured here receiving my award from Giles Hawke, Sales Director, and Mark Pilkington, Head of Sales, for all four brands.
The award is something that I have worked hard for, but my clients make that hard work a pleasure. I thought I would share with you these few photographs that capture moments from a very memorable day hosted by the cruise lines that I love work with, and of course take the 'occassional' cruise with .............

Britain's newest superliner to launch with added spice
A number of new innovations combined with a refined and modern interpretation of the classic cruise experience will be the defining qualities for the latest superliner from P&O Cruises, Azura, set to launch in 2010. To harness eclectic British tastes and honour the rich history of P&O Cruises, Azura will feature an Indian fine dining restaurant, Sindhu, the creation of celebrated Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar. Sindhu means meeting point, amalgamation or fusion, and the menu will offer a fusion of fine British and Indian cuisine. Dishes such as pan-fried lobster tail in coconut milk and tamarind sauce will tempt passengers through the doors of this - just one of 11 - dining venues on board. Azura will feature 18 single staterooms, a first in the P&O Cruises fleet, and two large suites for extended families or groups of friends to share, meaning more affordable travel suited to today's diverse market.
Ventura has now completed her inaugural summer season and is starting her first winter season in the Caribbean. Since her launch in April P&O have welcomed on board over 57,000 passengers.
Nigel Esdale, P&O Managing Director commented” As anticipated, her first year of operation has seen large numbers of our past passengers wanting to experience the ship. She has also played host to unprecedented numbers of newcomers who have been attracted by her innovation, scale and choice. In general newcomers have reacted very favourably to Ventura and we continue to see this as our primary focus. That said, we have had some challenges in marrying the differing needs and expectations of a new audience with those who have travelled with us many times before. Indeed the first year of operation for any ship is always its most difficult and the team on board have worked extremely hard to consistently deliver against our passengers' expectations. Their commitment has been rewarded with customer satisfaction scores that are now comparable to her fleet companions. Customers aren't just telling us what a fantastic holiday they've had; they're also telling visitors to the growing number of cruise dedicated online review sites. A large majority of recent reviews on such sites gave Ventura an overall rating of 4 stars and above, and an overwhelming number awarded 5 stars. Don't just take my word for it though, read exerts from these reviews, which I have included as an addendum or, better still, visit one of these sites for yourself.
