Cunard reintroduce a new level of fine dining.
The Verandah Grills on the original Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary were perhaps the most exclusive dining rooms at sea, on a par with exclusive private clubs in London, New York and Paris. On the former Queens, The Verandah Grills were available to first-class passengers who wanted a truly exclusive experience. The rooms would be frequented by royalty, film stars, the rich and the famous. In keeping with this tradition, The Verandah restaurant on the new Queen Elizabeth will offer an experience that encompasses exquisite cuisine, contemporary design and impeccable service.
We are very pleased to announce that all Ships in the P&O Cruises, Cunard & Ocean Village fleets will show all 64 matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Live from South Africa. The event begins on June 11th and concludes with the Championship game on July 11.
All three cruise lines will receive the initial group stages, the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, 3/4 Place and Final.
Queen Elizabeth joins the Cunard fleet in October 2010 as the sixth Cunard Queen in Cunard's illustrious 170 years history and the second largest Cunarder ever built. She will be the third Cunard Queen to bear the name Elizabeth and will join her sisters Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria as part of the youngest fleet in the world. Her unique style and personality will bear tribute to her forebears Queen Elizabeth and QE2.
